Invitation

The organising committee of the AATE/ALEA National Conference, to be held in Hobart from 9 – 12 July 2009, invites you to participate as a trade exhibitor and/or sponsor.

The conference will be held at the Wrest Point Conference Centre, overlooking the sparkling blue waters of the Derwent River.

A range of educators with a particular interest in English, language and literacy will visit the trade exhibition at the conference. At least 700 delegates, including classroom teachers, principals, lecturers, consultants and researchers are expected to attend the conference.

Conference Exhibition Booths
Booths will be located in the Boardwalk Gallery and the Exhibition Foyer areas where morning and afternoon teas and lunches will be served.

Booth measurements are 3m wide, 2.5m deep and 2m high. The walls of the booths are lined with black ‘front runner’ which is suitable for attaching posters and signs with Velcro or black octanorm material suitable for blu-tac.

A header board with your company name, dressed table and two chairs, power board and spotlights are included.

Additionally there is registration for two representatives including an invitation to the Welcome Reception to be held in the exhibition area. Each exhibitor may also provide one satchel insert.

The cost for the above package is $1950

Conference Exhibition Space

Exhibition spaces will be located in the Boardwalk Gallery and Exhibition Foyer areas where morning and afternoon teas and lunches will be served.

The exhibition space comes with a trestle table with a white cloth, either 1.8m or 2.4m, a double sided poster board, 2.3m x 1.3m, two chairs and a power board.

Additionally there is registration for one representative including an invitation to the Welcome Reception to be held in the exhibition area. Each exhibitor may also provide one satchel insert.

The cost for the above package is $950

Please contact the Conference Secretariat, indicating your preferred location (please consult the attached maps). On receipt of your application, the conference organisers will contact you and confirm your conference exhibition details.

Sponsorship
Many opportunities for sponsorship are available. We will ensure that trade exhibitors, sponsors and delegates have many opportunities to meet face-to-face and to exchange ideas and information. We want to ensure that trade exhibitors and sponsors receive excellent value.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Satchels
These will be over printed with your logo, name and conference details. A quality satchel has been chosen to ensure continuing exposure of your company long after the 2009 conference.

Name Badges
A printed name badge with lanyon will include space for you company name and logo.

Name badge package is $300

Keynote Speakers
Keynote speakers are the highlight of any conference. We have secured many high profile international and Australian speakers. We invite you to sponsor a keynote presentation. Company banners/signage would be displayed at the presentation.

Book Launches
Publishers are invited to launch a book at a morning or afternoon tea and are welcome to provide signage and promotional literature. A brief time to speak to delegates will be available.

Book launch package is $300

Advertising in the Conference Program
The Conference Program will be given to all delegates registering for the Conference.

Half page advertising space - $200.00
Full page advertising space - $300.00

Satchel Inserts
All trade exhibitors and sponsors have the opportunity to supply one satchel insert. If you are neither a sponsor nor an exhibitor and would like to advertise your product or services, satchel inserts can be arranged.

Other Sponsorship Opportunities
Additional items such as pens, note pads and delegate gifts are available for sponsorship. Costs and appropriate recognition should be negotiated with the Conference Secretariat.
